Seabird Luxury Villas are four-bedroom private villas sitting on the lagoon side of Placencia — each with a full kitchen, private pool, boat ramp, and direct water access. On-site is The Nest, a thatch spa offering massage treatments in one of the most peaceful settings imaginable. Listed on Airbnb, Seabird attracts couples, families, and multigenerational groups looking for something far beyond a hotel room. This is the kind of property that sells itself — once someone can actually picture themselves there.
The Approach
We planned two full shoot days, each with a different guest profile — deliberately chosen to reflect the real range of people who book Seabird.
Day one was built around a family — active, vibrant, and full of the energy that makes villa travel so different from a hotel stay. Fishing from the boat ramp, kids in the pool, a meal coming together in the full kitchen. The kind of content that makes a parent look at their screen and think — that's exactly what we need.
Day two shifted to a couple travelling with their grown daughter — capturing the quieter, more refined side of Seabird. Paddleboarding on the lagoon at golden hour, sunset views from the water, and time spent at The Nest — where a thatch-roofed spa experience amid the sounds of the lagoon is the kind of thing you don't forget.
Together the two days gave Seabird something most properties never achieve — a visual library that speaks to every guest before they book, in the language of their own travel dreams.
What We Delivered
80 carefully edited images covering every space, experience, and guest type across both shoot days. A 2 minute brand film capturing the full Seabird story from arrival to sunset. Three 15 second social media reels focused on fishing, paddleboarding, and family travel. And a dedicated 30 second film for The Nest spa — intimate, atmospheric, and built to convert.
The owners loved the work.
And when the content was live and performing, they didn't look for another photographer for their next update — they brought Braata back on to keep the visual library fresh across seasons and campaigns.
That ongoing relationship is exactly what we build toward with every hospitality client. Not a single shoot — a creative partnership.
